Left Bocas on Thursday and planned on heading over to El Valle. Only problem with that was that we never ended up finding a bus headed there. At last minute we decided instead to do the easy thing and head straight to Panama City. We got in early enough but spent almost half the day trying to find a place to stay. We finally stumbled upon a nice hotel in the La Exposicion district of Panama City that has air conditioning, private bathroom, cable tv, and even a pool on the roof...all for $14 USD a night. We spent today shopping and checking out just a small portion of this crazy city as its almost as though it has no end. We will spend the rest of our trip in and around here checking out the sights and sounds of the botanical garden and zoo, Isla Tabago, the Canal itself of course, and exploring the Causeway. Will make sure we give you at least one more update before we head back to the island, cant believe its in just under 10 days now!

Great photos as always, I am sure you are sad that your adventure will soon be coming to an end.

(the photo of the feet in the mud) Thats funny and similar to life, we find ourselves going through some dirty and ugly times to get to something beautiful. "The lotus grows in the mud"  The lotus is the most beautiful flower, whose petals open one by one. But it will only grow in mud. In order to grow and gain wisdom, first you must have the mud- the obstacles of life and its suffering.
